The Month of Love

scratchDC is thrilled to partner with DC's own Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food & Agriculture for a Month of Love!

What's Up?
We all think of love when we think of February.  And while Valentines Day, Cupids, paper mache hearts and long winded love letters are wonderful; when we think of love, we can't help but think about the city we all call home.

As life-long locals and permanent transplants, we've always wanted to make giving back to our community a cornerstone of what we do, and we are very happy to make The Month of Love our first major step in achieving this goal.

Throughout the month of February, scratchDC will be raising money for Arcadia and its many impactful projects.  Each week will feature a new way for the community and customers to get involved and we will be partnering with our good friends at RaiseYourCity to cap it all off with a big ole party!

We'll have many exciting announcements, programs and contests as the month continues, but we hope that you will join us in sharing the love of amazing tastes and helping city we all love!

What's Arcadia?
The Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food and Agriculture is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a more equitable and sustainable local food system in the Washington, D.C. area.  Arcadia does this via its three distinct program areas: Sustainable Agriculture (Arcadia Farm), Food Access (the Mobile Market, Food Hub), and Farm and Nutrition Education (Farm Field Trips, Farm Camp, Farm to School, etc).  Learn MUCH more about Arcadia on our blog, or check em out for yourself here!

How to Get Involved?
All Month: scratchDC will donate $1 for every order during the month of February! (up to a maximum of $2000)
Customers and the community can also donate, spread the word, and learn how to get directly involved!

February 1st - 8th - The first week of February is all about SPREADING THE LOVE. We're not only providing $5 off for all NEW customers, but we're also giving $5 to Arcadia for every new customer that orders (and saves) using the promo code "ShareTheLove"!  So feel free to spread the code, shout it from the rooftops and get busy on social media to share the love of great food and raise money for a great cause!

**Other weekly fundraising events will be announced soon!**

Like we said, this is our first major step in what will hopefully be a long journey of community philanthropy.  If you have ideas, questions or want to get involved, don't hesitate to contact us!
